I. Product Overview
The Surface Water Filtration System is a high-efficiency cloth filter water purification system developed for natural water body (rivers, lakes, reservoirs) purification. Its core function is to remove algae, suspended solids, colloids, and plankton through physical interception by high-precision fiber filter cloths, reducing turbidity and pollutant loads to provide quality raw water for downstream applications (e.g., drinking water pretreatment, landscape water improvement, agricultural irrigation).
Designed for surface water characteristics such as "large water quality fluctuations, high natural impurity content, and seasonal algae blooms," the system achieves efficient purification through reinforced anti-clogging filter cloth design and dynamic adjustment capabilities.
II. Working Principles
-
Natural Water Filtration Stage
Surface water enters the filtration tank via gravity flow, permeating from the outer to inner side of UV-resistant composite fiber filter cloths. Algae cells, suspended sediment, and plankton are intercepted on the cloth surface, while purified water exits through central collection pipes, achieving turbidity <5 NTU.
-
Anti-Clogging Backwashing Stage
Raw water flows into the main tank and through filter cloths via gravity. Treated water is collected through filter discs and central pipes for reuse/discharge. As suspended solids accumulate, filtration efficiency decreases, raising water levels. When levels reach a preset threshold or after a set runtime, negative-pressure backwashing activates. Filter discs rotate slowly, removing surface contaminants without interrupting filtration.
-
Pretreatment Coordination Design
A rotating screen (1-2mm aperture) at the inlet intercepts large debris (e.g., branches, aquatic plants), reducing filter cloth clogging risks and adapting to complex surface water impurities.

IV. Product Features
-
Targeted Natural Impurity Removal
Effectively intercepts algae (Cyanobacteria, Green Algae) and silt (≥10μm), resolving seasonal turbidity and algae bloom issues. Post-treatment water clarity improves by 30-50%.
-
Robust Shock Resistance & Environmental Adaptability
Withstands turbidity fluctuations (10-200 NTU) via automatic filtration area adjustment or backwash cycle shortening. Corrosion-resistant housing suits outdoor environments (high temperature, humidity, UV).
-
Simple O&M with Cost Control
-
Self-cleaning fiber cloths reduce algae adhesion and backwash frequency.
-
High automation via level/turbidity sensor integration for unmanned operation.
-
Treatment cost <0.01 RMB/ton, far below membrane filtration.
-
Flexible Multi-Scenario Adaptation
Modular design enables compact installation (1/4 footprint of traditional sedimentation + sand filters), ideal for riverbanks/lakesides with space constraints.
V. Applications
-
Drinking Water Pretreatment
Serves as a front-end unit for waterworks, removing algae/silt to reduce sedimentation tank load and disinfectant (chlorine) usage, avoiding harmful byproducts from algae-disinfectant reactions.
-
Landscape Water Restoration
Treats urban lakes, rivers, and wetlands via cyclic filtration, suppressing algal blooms and enhancing transparency for ecological/visual improvement.
-
Agricultural Irrigation Upgrade
Processes river/reservoir water to remove silt/harmful algae, preventing irrigation pipe blockage and crop contamination.
-
Emergency Water Supply
Rapidly deployed during disasters (e.g., floods) to provide emergency water (turbidity ≤10 NTU) meeting basic hygiene standards.
