TIG Welding Service

TIG welding uses a controlled arc and inert argon shielding to produce precise and clean welds. It is particularly suitable for stainless steel, aluminum alloy, thin sheet components and assemblies where weld appearance, dimensional accuracy and joint quality are important.

The welding process is selected according to material type, plate thickness, structural load, sealing requirements and appearance requirements. This helps achieve stable welding performance while reducing deformation, rework and rejection rates.

Materials We Weld

Carbon Steel: Suitable for equipment frames, machinery brackets, bases and heavy-duty structural components.

Stainless Steel 304/316: Suitable for corrosion-resistant enclosures, fluid equipment, food-related equipment and exposed assemblies.

Aluminum Alloy: Suitable for lightweight structures, equipment housings and components requiring high strength-to-weight performance.

Cast Iron & Ductile Iron: Suitable for specialized machinery and heavy-duty welded assemblies.

Copper Alloy: Available for applications requiring specific electrical or thermal characteristics.

Dissimilar metal welding can also be evaluated according to the material combination and technical requirements.

Welding Processes

Welding Process Typical Applications
TIG / GTAW Stainless steel, aluminum, thin sheets, precision welds
MIG / MAG Structural parts and general industrial fabrication
CO2 Welding Carbon steel structures and equipment frames
Spot Welding Sheet metal assemblies
Fillet Welding Structural brackets and frames
Submerged Arc Welding Large and heavy-duty weldments
Brazing Selected metal joining applications
Robotic Welding High-volume standardized production

OEM & ODM Welding

The TIG Welding service supports one-stop OEM and ODM manufacturing based on customer drawings, physical samples or supplied materials.

The complete process can include:

  1. Drawing and technical review

  2. Material preparation and blanking

  3. Welding fixture fabrication

  4. TIG or other process welding

  5. Post-weld straightening

  6. CNC secondary machining

  7. Deburring and grinding

  8. Surface finishing

  9. Dimensional inspection

  10. Packaging and delivery

Small prototype orders and large-volume production are both supported.

Precision & Quality Control

Hehua applies process controls throughout welding production. Overall dimensional tolerance can reach ±0.1 to ±0.3 mm, while post-straightening flatness can reach ≤0.03 mm/100 mm according to project requirements.

Weld quality is controlled to minimize defects such as:

  • Porosity

  • Slag inclusion

  • Cracks

  • Excessive deformation

  • Dimensional deviation

For pressure-related welded components, air and water tightness testing can be performed. First-article inspection, periodic batch inspection and shipment inspection reports are available according to customer requirements.

Drawing & Sample Support

Customers can submit 2D CAD drawings or 3D files in formats including STEP, IGS, SolidWorks and UG. Reverse engineering from physical samples is also supported for legacy parts, replacement assemblies and non-standard equipment.

Before production, engineers review the design and identify potential welding deformation, cracking and manufacturability issues. Welding DFM optimization can be provided to improve production stability and reduce rejection rates.

Post-Weld Surface Treatment

To provide a complete finished component, post-weld treatments include:

  • Grinding

  • Straightening

  • Shot blasting

  • Black oxide

  • Electrophoresis

  • Dacromet

  • Powder coating

  • Galvanization

  • Anodizing

  • Polishing

Surface finishing can be selected according to corrosion resistance, appearance and application requirements. Salt spray testing reports can also be provided when required.

Production Capacity

The production system combines manual welding stations with robotic welding cells and supporting cutting, straightening and polishing workshops. Integrated stamping, CNC machining and welding enables one-stop component manufacturing.

  • Monthly capacity: up to 30,000 sets

  • Standard delivery: approximately 12–25 days

  • Prototype sampling: approximately 3–7 days

  • Rush production: priority scheduling available

  • On-time delivery rate: ≥98%

Actual lead time depends on material, component complexity, order quantity and finishing requirements.
