API 5L is the world's most widely used standard for line pipe. API 5L seamless pipe is manufactured without a longitudinal weld seam, providing uniform strength and integrity for critical oil and gas transmission applications.

We supply API 5L seamless line pipe in all common grades and PSL levels, with full traceability and certification. Sour service (HIC/SSC) qualification available for H₂S environments.

What is the difference between API 5L PSL1 and PSL2?

PSL2 has more stringent requirements than PSL1, including mandatory impact testing, tighter chemistry limits (C, P, S), carbon equivalent controls, and maximum yield strength limits. PSL2 is required for sour service, low-temperature applications, and critical pipelines. We supply API 5L seamless pipe in PSL2 as standard.

What grades are available for sour service (H₂S environments)?

For sour service, API 5L seamless pipe must meet NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 requirements. We supply Gr.B, X42, X52, and X65 with:

What is the maximum diameter for API 5L seamless pipe?

Seamless API 5L pipe is commercially available up to 24" (610 mm) . Above this diameter, seamless manufacturing becomes impractical, and API 5L LSAW pipe is recommended.
